Microsoft Edge browser ushered in price comparison and scrolling screenshot tools

Microsoft is adding a price comparison feature to its Chromium-based Edge browser, as well as a very useful screenshot tool that allows you to easily capture entire web pages.
The new price comparison function is applicable to various retailers. For example, if you are doing some shopping for the holidays and have created a product list in the Collection, you can click the "Compare prices with other retailers" button to view the comparison.
This is a relatively basic price comparison function, which will be limited to US retailers when it is launched, but Microsoft promises to make it a more proactive service and provide coupon options in the future.

Edge's second major update this month is a new screenshot tool. Although there are many ways to take screenshots of web pages, most of the existing tools simply take a screenshot of what you see, without the ability to capture the entire web page or scroll. Microsoft's new Edge screenshot tool will automatically scroll down the page so that you can capture everything in one screenshot. Microsoft will also add ink features to the tool in the Edge version released in the future, and testers will be able to use this testing feature soon.

In addition to price comparisons and the addition of screenshots, Edge can also customize the background image of the new tab page this month. Thanks to the new catalog support, PDF handling has also been improved, allowing click and quick navigation to different parts of the PDF.

Collections now supports export to Excel, OneNote, Word and Pinterest, but does not yet support email.

Although Edge brings new features this month, for many people, the browser still lacks a key synchronization feature. Cross-device synchronization of tabs and history was promised in the summer, but these important synchronization features will not arrive until the fall.

Microsoft is continuing to test its vertical labeling function for Edge, and many of the improvements introduced today will be provided in the Canary and Beta versions of Edge in the coming weeks.
