The Galaxy A42 uses the mid-range processor Snapdragon 750G that Qualcomm just announced last month. It is an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 730G on phones such as Pixel 4A, but it is not as powerful as the Snapdragon 765G on the Pixel 4A 5G and OnePlus Nord. .
